Sustainability Policy

AJM Packaging Corporation is committed to the goals of sustainable development, recycling of paper fiber, and promoting responsible resource management and use. To achieve these goals, AJM Packaging Corporation subscribes to the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI®) Chain of Custody Standards and Trademark Use Rules.

AJM Packaging Corporation employs scientifically, environmentally, socially and economically sustainable practices to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. This is accomplished by practicing and promoting a resource and conservation stewardship ethic.

AJM Packaging Corporation’s use of raw materials sourced from sustainably managed forests, together with efforts designed to promote recycling and composting in commercial composting facilities, form the basis of its sustainability policy. To help implement this policy, AJM Packaging Corporation has developed and adopted appropriate programs and documented procedures to guide its paper procurement activities and the distribution of its household paper products, including the use of related sustainable forestry claims and labels.

AJM Packaging Corporation is committed to comply with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, including social laws. AJM Packaging Corporation relies on the comprehensive set of domestic laws addressing worker discrimination, forced labor, child labor and safe and healthy working conditions.

AJM Packaging Corporation is also committed to annually review the effectiveness of its sustainability policy and programs and management systems to continually improve its sustainable forestry program.
